Cancer Rehabilitation: The New Frontier 2007

Cotting Connection presents a groundbreaking conference on breast cancer rehabilitation, open to the public. Top speakers from across the country will examine breast cancer treatments and outline the best care plan for a safe return from a diagnosis to an active lifestyle. There is no formal program for rehabilitation in the continuum of cancer care in this country. This innovative forum is the first to provide health care practitioners and exercise professionals with the necessary knowledge to be able to safely work with breast cancer survivors.

Celebration of Life: 14th Anniversary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and its Patient-to-Patient, Heart-to-Heart Program are hosting a day of education, celebration, and community for people who have been touched by cancer. More than two dozen workshops, led by BIDMC professionals and community experts, will address a range of topics from treatment for specific cancers and family caregiver issues to managing fatigue and the benefits of yoga.
